Tip 6: Use Advanced Search Function in Petro-SIM 5

Question:

Do you feel that sometimes the hotkey CTRL+F cannot find the specific objects you are looking for?

Answer:

Use the Advanced Option in the Search tool to look for specific objects, for example, operation units, streams, columns, workbooks, and even more.

Procedure:

1.  The user can access this search function via two methods:

  • Click Search in Tools Ribbon bar
  • Press Hotkey Ctrl +F

2. Advanced Search tools can filter specific objects, operations, streams, columns, workbooks, and more. In the Search tool pane, click Advanced. From the context menu, select an option.  Please note when you choose an Advanced Search option, text in the Search For field is ignored.

3.  Search results will be listed in the Results window like below.
