Tip 8: Property Set Manager in Petro-SIM 5

Question:

Do you want to apply user defined properties set to all streams in a flowsheet instead of linking it individually?

Answer:

Use the Property Set Controls (Global) function in the Property Manager to create your own group of properties. You can also select a correlation set and globally apply it to each stream in the case.

Procedure:

1.  Example: If you have a defined property set for a stream, you can save this set by saving and naming current set on the “Properties” page.

2.  Open the Property Manager located in the Properties option from the Home tab. First make sure  the link all streams properties to stream type option is unchecked.

3.  Then click on the button  to remove properties from unlinked streams.  After this, you should observe that the status for active set changes to Not Selected.

4.  Click on the  Property set picker button then choose the one you want to use. This properties set will be used for all stream in this flowsheet.
